This course is designed for the student who seeks hands-on Project Management learning as a practical discipline. This course is will explain how successful projects are initiated, planned, organized, and managed. Students learn about agile and digital project life cycles, in addition to learning the principles, tools and techniques for traditional project delivery. The student also learns how to manage change, project risks, stakeholder expectations, and even more crucially, how to juggle multiple projects at once. These skills benefit any professional task.
There are two stages to the training, the virtual classroom sessions and the virtual practical work experience part of the training. The virtual classroom session offers students either the opportunity to enroll in the 5-week online day classes (Saturday) or the 5-week online evening-classes (twice a week).
After the theoretical sessions are complete, students will be placed on a real project as part of a team for 3-4months depending on the project. In total, the training program could run for approximately 17 weeks.
This particular course is based on hands-on learning. At the end of the program, you would have delivered an end-to-end project yourself.
There are no prerequisites for the Project Management training course. Whether you have some related previous work experience or you are a new starter, this PM program is for you. We have had delegates with no previous experience enrolled for this program and successfully secured a job once completed.
This training is also designed to give candidates a working understanding of the practical insights and tools used in both traditional and digital project delivery. Candidates will be given the opportunity to deliver a project from inception to completion (Full life cycle project). The Training will not be a classroom-based type of training, it's more of a discussion-based training where I will spend the time with the candidates to help guide them through delivering the projects they have been assigned.
